Yes. To drive a buggy you must bring your original, valid category B driving licence on the day of the tour. Passengers, including children accompanied by a parent, do not need a licence.

You can start the experience in two ways.

1) By car — go directly to the meeting point in Tarajalillo, with free car parking next to the airplane: FLY Gran Canaria, GC-500, Tarajalillo, 35107, Spain.

2) By free minivan transfer — we pick you up in front of our office in Playa del Inglés: wait out on the street at the taxi stop. Canarias Excursions Tours, Avenida de Alemania, 35100 Maspalomas, Spain.

Children are welcome as passengers in the buggy as long as a parent or adult is driving. Our buggies seat up to 4 people, so the whole family can ride together.

Prices depend on the tour, the type of vehicle (1 to 4 seats) and the season. You can see live prices and availability in the booking module on this page before you pay anything.

Wear closed shoes, comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty, sunglasses and sun cream. We provide the protective glasses. Bring your driving licence and some water.

All our buggies are automatic and very easy to drive, so you can focus on the scenery. Your guide gives a full briefing before departure and leads the whole route.

The tours are genuinely off-road: dirt tracks and mountain trails that cars cannot reach, through the volcanic landscape of southern Gran Canaria.
